Dolans Presents are delighted to announce the first visit to Limerick of the Amy Winehouse Experience (AKA Lioness) on Saturday 19th May.
Their first visit to Limerick comes on the back of a recent sell-out UK tour which saw the band covering over 5,000 miles and selling in excess of 10,000 tickets.
Lioness has been described as ‘the most authentic and respectful tribute to the musical talent of this modern day icon’.
The stage show runs for 90 minutes and is modelled on Amy's 2007 performance at the Shepherd's Bush Empire 'I Told You I Was Trouble'.
The show features hit songs from Amy Winehouse albums such as FRANK, BACK TO BLACK, LIONESS as well as a host of covers associated with Amy Winehouse’s back catalogue.
Neil Dolans of Dolans Presents says: “Despite a short career Amy Winehouse is credited as having created one of the most lasting musical impressions of the 21 st century.
This full stage show production showcases the extraordinary talent of Amy Winehouse and will take Limerick audiences on a journey through the emotional roller coaster of her song writing”.
Lioness are made up of hand-picked experienced musicians, carefully selected to maintain the accuracy to Amy Winehouse’s original performances.
The band provides, without doubt, the most authentic recreation of Amy Winehouse, designed to entertain and deliver the experience of Amy at her very best.
Tickets for this event are on sale now and are expected to sell quickly. Booking at www.dolans.ie or by contacting the Dolans box office on 061 314483.
