Dolans Presents have announced the upcoming return of popular singer/songwriter Gavin James to Limerick.
Following a sold out Limerick gig in 2017, Gavin James returns to Limerick on July 21st for a special Live at King John’s Castle concert performance.
In 2013, James independently released the single "Say Hello", which won the Meteor Choice Award for Song of the Year. By 2015, James had signed deals with Sony in Europe and Capitol Records in the US.
Since the release of his debut album Bitter Pill, Gavin James has sold over 2 million singles worldwide, amassed ½ billion streams on Spotify and performed over 500 shows to over 3.2 million people at festivals and sold out tours across US, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia.
The Bitter Pill, Say Hello, Nervous, and For You creator has amassed an army of fans around the globe with his ‘once in a generation’ voice and emotionally-charged live performances.
Gavin James has seen his singles ‘Nervous’ and ‘Book of Love’ go double platinum in Holland. His music has received over 150 million Spotify streams. He was also the winners of the ‘Song of the Year’ category at Ireland’s Music Prize as well as winning the Breaking Artist award at the 2016 UK Music Business Worldwide awards.
He has also found fans in many of his fellow musical peers, supporting Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Kodaline and Sam Smith and collaborating with Alan Walker (on the summer smash Tired) and Australian Hip Hop act Bliss n Eso (on the Aria Award nominated Moments).
James had a massive 2017, culminating in the release of his new single Hearts On Fire, the first track to be lifted off his second album, due in the spring.
Produced with Steve Robson (One Direction, John Legend, James Bay) and co-written with Sam Romans (Little Mix, Mary J Blige, Rag n Bone Man) the song, complete with its infectious chants and hooky chorus, is already a fan favourite.
His 2018 performance at King John’s Castle Limerick is expected once again to be a sell-out. Tickets are on sale now at https://dolans.yapsody.com/event/book/194241/4954926
