Music fans in Limerick are in for a treat this Christmas as a host of big names have been announced for an action-packed festive schedule at Dolans this December.
Dolans has unveiled a Christmas event listing that will see the award-winning music venue transform into a magical, atmospheric and vibrant space bursting with festive spirit.
Along with a stellar line-up of big-name gigs, the venue is also taking bookings for the hugely popular Christmas nights.
Be it staff parties, family gatherings or a night back home at a gig catching up with friends, the Dolans team have put together a variety of packages and offerings specially designed to make Christmas in Limerick one to remember.
The calendar of events which runs right through the month of December will see Limerick welcome an array of singer/songwriters, rock bands, tribute acts, comedy nights, Christmas specials and a Live at the Big Top special.
Christmas wouldn’t be the same without experiencing the nightly traditional Irish music nights in Dolans. Hosted in front of a roaring open fire and featuring some of the best musicians Limerick has to offer, this really is something that needs to be experienced over the course of the holiday period.
The Dolans team will also produce a festive Live at the Big Top event at the Milk Market. Fresh from playing one of the most talked about shows of the year at a sold out Iveagh Gardens in Dublin recently, Ireland’s favourite indie outfit, The Academic will play the Milk Market venue on December 14th.
Rugby fans can savour the pub’s atmosphere as the venue shows all four of Munster’s December fixtures on the Dolans big screen.
Speaking as he launched the Dolans Christmas schedule, Mick Dolan said: “As a family-run bar and music venue, Christmas is our favourite time of the year. We pride ourselves on the intimate, atmospheric and seasonal sense of home that Dolans exudes during the festive period”
Dolans boasts an award-winning restaurant team and the venue will offer both a Christmas lunch and dinner package throughout the Christmas period as well as range of party options that cater for large and smaller groups.
This year is a particularly significant year for Dolans as they prepare to enter 2019, a year that will see the award-winning venue celebrate 25 years since it opened its doors in Limerick city.
“We have worked tremendously hard over the past 25 years to establish the Dolans name in Limerick.
We look forward to planning our 25th anniversary celebrations in 2019. In the meantime we want to ensure Christmas 2018 is one to remember for all our loyal supporters and we look forward to welcoming each and every one of them throughout the month of December”, he added.
