Kasbah to host EP launch for Dylan Flynn and the Dead Poets

We are looking forward to playing host to up-and-coming local band Dylan Flynn and the Dead Poets as the launch their debut EP at the Kasbah on the 21st of November.

Hailing from Limerick City, indie-pop group Dylan Flynn & The Dead Poets have just arrived onto the scene.

Dylan Flynn, who made a name for himself as part of indie 4 piece Monday Villains, took a year long hiatus before venturing into the solo field in August of 2017.

Through a series of fortuitous encounters, Flynn met the Dead Poets through college and began gigging in early 2018. Like many other Limerick musicians, Flynn has gone down a more DIY path with the process, by choosing to self-produce and mix with his band members.

The band is made up of Dylan Flynn on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Keagan Forde on Backing Vocals & Guitar, Chris Britton on Keys & Saxophone), George Broadbank on Bass and Gavin Murray on Drums.

“Something New” the first single of the Dead Poets debut EP, “Encounters”, was released in August. “Something New” is a upbeat indie-pop song, about friends, family and relationships. Its catchy hooks and sing along melodies, will have it stuck in your head all day.

“Wait” the second single of the EP, was released on October 3rd.

The full EP, “Encounters”, is set for release on the 21st of November with a special event to be held at the Kasbah.

Dolans Presents are proud to support new local acts and we invite you all to celebrate with the guys later this month.
